Richard Daniel from NSW was awarded Australia’s champion prawn peeler recently when he shelled 12 prawns in a minute.

Daniel was the first winner of The Crystal Bay Prawns Great Prawn Peel Off competition recently, beating four other contenders, with second place peeling 11 prawns in a minute.

His trick when dealing with prawns? According to the clip below, he prefers to remove the head and “take the back out of it”...er, many blokes easily agree with this tactic when dealing with any prawn of any nature...
