Drink: Long Island Iced Tea

Origin: Long Island, New York

Ingredients: half shot of vodka, half shot of tequila, half shot of white rum, half shot of triple sec, half shot of gin, one shot of lemon juice, one shot of sugar syrup and a splash of Coke.

Method: Mix ingredients in glass over ice, stir, garnish with slice of lemon or mint and serve.

Alcohol content: Well put it this way, you won't be driving anywhere, for quite some time.

Tastes like: A refreshing summery afternoon iced tea, with the summer and iced tea removed and replaced with a truck load of booze.

Mate rating: It's the booziest drink on any cocktail list. Your mate's will applaud your drinking skills and then laugh at you when you can't walk... half an hour later.

Goes with: Any social situation where it's acceptable to get as humanly drunk in the quickest amount of time possible.

Doesn’t go with: First dates, meeting her parents, or anything that requires you drive a car in the next 48 hours.

Drink Ammo: Even though it's called a Long Island Iced Tea the traditional version will never actually include iced tea in the drink.

There's many variations of the Long Island Iced Tea, tell us yours in the comment section below.
