So this week on The Late Show with David Letterman, Letterman told the world about a guy who's been trying to blackmail the talk show host.

It turns out that some random guy had evidence that Letterman had been sleeping around with woman who work on his show, and if Dave didn't hand over a massive amount of cash he was going to write a screen play. So rather than cough up the cash Dave went to the cops, and then issued this statement on his site (see video below).

Letterman has made a living from taking the piss out of politicians and famous people who have been stuck in the same situation. What do you think of his statement, would Clinton have gotten off lightly if he had just come clean like Letterman?
