With crappy flicks like Prince of Persia, Twilight and Sex and the City 2 out now, blokes soon can let out a sigh of relief for a new addition to the comic-book-turned-action-flick fold – the Green Hornet. Uber-hilarious Seth Rogan stars as Britt Reid: the hero of the film who is a newspaper publisher by day but who is also the masked crime fighter 'The Green Hornet' by night.

Unlike Spiderman’s googly-eyed twat Tobey Maguire, Rogan adds witty humour and cool demeanour to his heroic persona and, unlike the usual stiff sidekicks, Jay Chou (Taiwanese idol) who plays Kato, the Green Hornet's super tech-savvy valet and sidekick, adds to the fire-blazing, car-demolishing, martial-art mayhem.

A comic book flick wouldn’t be complete without the token hot babe who in this case is Cameron ‘bangin’ bod’ Diaz. Starring as Lenore "Casey" Case, Diaz acts as Britt Reid's secretary and confidante but who is ignorant of the Reid/Hornet connection. We don’t expect Oscar-winning acting from Diaz but we’d be happy if she had nude scenes...preferably without Rogan, though.
Speaking of Oscars, a surprise addition to this cast is Oscar-winng Christoph Waltz (Inglourious Basterds) playing the villain of the flick, who aims to build a “super mafia” in L.A.

We haven’t been disappointed with Rogan yet so we can only expect eye-popping action and side-splintering laughter from this flick. Oh, and nude scenes of Diaz, too.
