We're really hoping this one will turn out to be some elaborate hoax, but according to another Australian website, the ABC have screwed thousands of Australia Day BBQ's by announcing the winner to the 2009 Hottest 100 via their ABC shop website.

The ABC website was plugging the upcoming edition of the J Mag, and in the description it went on to talk up an interview with the winners from the Hottest 100, who are none other than Mumford & Sons with their cracking song 'Little Lion Man'.

There's no doubt some serious questions being asked over at Triple J right now, would hate to work on the ABC Shop website right about now.

triple j?? with their highly socialist political crap views and their self important dj's? does anyone with any real intelligence take them seriously anyway???

on the numerous occaisions i tuned in to them i can honestly say all i heard was crap!

Hey **** you Anubis-81, Muse rule but i will agree the new album was poor in comparison too they're early stuff but at least it's better then most of the dribble put out by indie bands and mainstream rock bands (such as Nickelback) these days...
