Every year in Gamescom goes down in Cologne, Germany.
It’s a massive festival of all things gaming, and the booth-babes are all European so you might actually stand a chance with them even after a few steins. Some people say it’s bigger than E3, even. That’s quite the call, but this year it’s got some backup because the stuff we so going off on the showroom floor was nothing short of ridonkulous. Let’s get into the best of it.

Street Fighter X Tekken
PS3, Xbox 360, Vita
It seems a bit stupid on paper, but unlike most stupid ideas we’ve had it’s actually brilliant. Pitting Ryu against Kazuya doesn’t seem like it’d work seeing as Tekken’s coming from a 3D arena and all, but realistically all that you’ll be missing is the ability to rotate around your opponent. After this comes out, Namco are going to unleash Tekken X Street Fighter, which is the same deal but in Tekken’s 3D world instead. Yowsers, right
