Zoo Says: The last couple of annual games were a bit of a wank over Michael Jordan (we love the guy too, but come on). But here, the pumping presentation and sporting variety of game modes makes this game more exciting than a full-court three-pointer. Rapper Jay-Z is plastered throughout to give a little pre-game beat, and as you play you’ll earn virtual currency, which can be used to upgrade your created My Player. There’s so much attention to detail, from actual meetings with the GM, to a goddam shoe creator! If there’s any year to take a shot with a basketball game, this is the game winner.
