So you wake up at the bottom of a lake, with no recollection of the past 500years, what do you do? Well, you go and kick some ass whilst looking devilishly sexy in an outfit made out of...hair?! Sure, why not!

Bayonetta is the latest release from the creators of the 'Devil May Cry' series, and still carries the flair and attitude that made' Devil May Cry' such a hit. Following the age-old plot of the ultimate battle between 'Light' and 'Dark', you play as Bayonetta, a sultry witch caught in the middle who awakens at the bottom of a lake with no recollection of her past. So what does she do? She does what she does best, kicks ass! The game spans several chapters, based in Heaven, Purgatory and Hell, and when you're not making her sashay back and forth so you can admire her gorgeous tight ass, you're fighting Angels and Demons whilst trying to unearth your past. And what exactly does a hot witch use to fight of the warriors of Heaven and Hell? Numerous guns and even a set of guns hidden in her heels. Weapons can be snatched off your foes too, and successful wins can lead to new weapons being unlocked for sale, like a devilish katana, gauntlets, even Ice skates (yes, I'm deadly seriously about that). And what does a witch use to regain lost health? A lollipop. Absurd, but it just adds to the whole sex appeal of the game. You can assign different weapons to different limbs too, making for some awesome and even downright strange finishing combos. As you score combos and successful defeats in your fights, you can reach your 'Climax', where Bayonetta's hair whips off her body to become a gigantic weapon of its own, whether it’s a fist or a boot, or even a bird or a panther. Strange? Yes. Sexy? Hell yeah. The enemies all differ in power and rank too, making the fighting sequences unpredictable and intense.

The designers of Bayonetta haven’t been slack either. From the over-the-top costumes and weapons, to the tiniest details, there's dark beauty in it all. Butterflies have a recurring role, making up Bayonetta's shadow as she prowls through the moonlight, her librarian-esque glasses have a butterfly design, and she even sprouts giant butterfly wings throughout the game. The gothic beauty continues throughout; if an enemy manages to connect an attack with Bayonetta, you are welcomed by a spray of rose petals instead of blood. The whole game has a strong sexual theme, but unlike most games, its dark and delicious glamour and sex, indulging the player at every twist and turn. The locations don't fail to impress either, with gorgeous European-styled buildings and lush vast landscapes.

Overall, Bayonetta is a game made to indulge the senses and desires of every gamer, bringing an old-style sexiness to the screen, whilst still keeping the over-the-top style reminiscent of the 'Devil May Cry' series. The graphics are dark and glamorous, and the action is constant. Did I mention that Bayonetta was hot? Thought so.
